The movement is quartz, while the dial is mother of pearl with diamonds for the hour markers as well as for decoration on the bezel in a double row. 30 diamonds on the face and 136 on the case. In what could be described as a post art deco futurist look, the design of the watch is clean and functional, though well stylized. The blue colored alligator strap is further a sign of past times - perhaps during an era where a luxury couch might have looked good in this color.
