Private Security For Rappers Says “Some of your favorite rappers are ''Hiding In Hip-Hop''
MEDIAOUTRAGE had the opportunity to interview with a person that does a lot of security in Atlanta for plenty of RAPPERS and we weren’t necessarily shocked by what he told us, but some of the stuff raised a few eye brows. This person refused to have their name put down on record as it would mean loss of employment and perhaps more. Let’s get right into it:
MO: How long have you been doing security for hip-hop artists?
Person: I’ve been doing private security in Hip-Hop for more than 5 years now. This is just one of my jobs actually.
MO: So we’re guessing that it’s safe to say that you’ve not only heard a lot but also seen a lot, correct?
Person: Sure have. Both.
MO: Have you ever seen any kind of homosexual activity amongst certain rappers?
Person: Well first of all, I’m not giving out any names.
MO: Why not?
Person: Because I’m just not. I will say that when I first started working in this industry a lot of the things that I saw and was instructed to do surprised the f*ck out of me.
MO: Such as?
Person: I’ve done security for some very famous rappers. I’ve done mansion parties where I was hired to be security in homes during huge parties. I’ve had rappers after they finished performing on stage come to me and instruct me to go ask MEN to come back stage to join them. At first that shit kind of fucked me up because these are rappers that i fucking respected and liked their music. After a while of seeing that kind of shit you get used to it.
MO: Woa! Wait. Stop the damn presses for a second. You’re saying that rappers have asked you to go out into crowds to bring men backstage?
Person: You listen very well (laughs). Don’t act naive as if you don’t know this type of shit actually happens. You guys do the damn celebrity gossip so you’re supposed to be keeping the rest of us informed so this cannot be a surprise to you.
MO: Elaborate on how a rapper even comes out of his mouth to ask that kind of thing. Aren’t they worried about this kind of info getting out?
Person: Have you ever heard of non disclosure agreements? I worked for a company that rappers use for security, so they already believe that most of the shit they do will be over looked. Like when you hire a driver for a celebrity, that driver sees and hears a lot of stuff that the star knows they are hearing but they’re really not worried about them running their lips because these companies are trying to keep that clientele so they hire people that they screen very carefully.
MO: But you’re talking to us.
Person: I’m not giving out any names. Like I said, I’ve been told to go in the crowd and ask men to come back stage. Rappers have even asked me to entice them with money.
MO: How much money?
Person: A few thousand.
MO: How would they even know who to approach? Like how would they know who is actually GAY in a crowd of hundreds of people!?! You know?
Person: You’re asking the wrong person (laughs). I’m not gay so unless someone is acting or dressed a bit flamboyant I’m sometimes unaware of who is actually gay. Just telling you what I have done.
MO: What about at these private mansion parties? Have you seen any gay activity go down with rappers?
Person: I’ve seen some gay shit. Kissing another man in the mouth is not a mistake nor can it blamed on being drunk or twisted. I’ve seen a rapper go into a bedroom during a party with another man and be in there for quite some time.
MO: Yea two men kissing in the mouth is beyond gay. But if you didn’t see what was going on in the room then you can’t really say for a fact can you?
Person: Check this, if a man ask me to go bring another man backstage to chill with and he doesn’t know that man then the rapper is gay and obviously likes men. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist. You would just be very surprised at which rappers are homos. There’s way more of them than you think. Some of the toughest gangsta acting fools be really sweet.
MO: Thank you for your time and answering our questions
