This year's 2010 BET Awards were just announced and amazingly enough Nigerian artists MI and P-Square were nominated in the Best International Act category. This is the first time that African musicians have been nominated for the BET Awards.
Other artists of Nigerian heritage nominated were British rapper Dizzee Rascal who's father is Nigerian and mother is Ghanaian as well as Washington DC Born rapper Wale who is up for the Best New Artist award.

First of Congratulations to all the artists nominated, I mean this is absolutely amazing we are slowly creeping up on the American market, by the time they know it, Nigerians will be running things in the American music Industry.........
